Tips for Grilling Steaks Simply :
- Grass fed beef tastes better and have a bolder flavor overall that holds up particularly well against the high temperatures on a grill
- A simple seasoning for steaks that works well and allows for even browning is: salt, pepper, olive oil ( not extra virgin). Brush olive oil on both sides and sprinkle with salt & pepper. Let sit for at least 30 minutes in refrigerator before grilling.
- As you grill do not over cook. Timing is crucial. There is nothing worse than a rubbery over done piece of steak.
- When your steak comes off the grill do not slice right away. Let the juices & the proteins in the meat settle from the heat at least 10 minutes. This time allows the juices to redistribute. Add a skim of butter over the top, slice, & enjoy!
